Mafia Island is part of Tanzania’s Mafia Archipelago, in the Indian Ocean. Large swaths of the island’s southern coastline and surrounding waters are protected by the Mafia Island Marine Park. Within the park are many coral reefs, home to wildlife such as whale sharks and sea turtles which make this island simply magic.

This five day is the relaxing and unwind safari on the tropical Mafia Island. The tour will be a great experience as it encompasses a timeless, peaceful feel where the most essential issue of the day could be going for a long stroll on the fine soft sand beaches. Day 1: Domestic Flight to Mafia

Your journey starts at Dar es Salaam or Arusha domestic airport with a flight to Mafia Island. Upon arrival at Mafia Airport, you will be picked-up and transferred to your hotel located on the wonderful coast of Mafia.

Day 2-4: Mafia Island

These days you will have a choice of activities you would like to do. Mafia Island is a perfect escape from the fast pace and busy life. This island is still pure and untouched with no tarmac roads and only a few tourists. Almost half of Mafia’s coastline is part of Mafia Island Marine Park, a nature park, full of coral reef, mangrove forest and lagoons. A paradise for divers, snorkelers and honeymooners. You can explore the amazing coral reefs and swim among tropical reef fish. All these activities can be organized directly with the hotel

Day 5:  Flight to Dar es Salaam/Zanzibar-Depart

After a leisurely breakfast at your accommodation, slowly transfer to Mafia airport where you connect with your flight to Dar es Salaam/ Zanzibar where is the end of the Tour.
